I guess it should come as no surprise to anyone that my state representatives failed to respond to the email I sent them. I would start slowly cranking up the pings on them, but we're moving out of our apartment and buying a house in Cherry Hill.
So in the coming days, look for me to send that same email to my new set of state legislators. Then I can start to turn the heat up on them (if they don't respond that is).
It strikes me that part of the reason I'm even blogging about this is that I have a gut feeling that it takes more work than just an email or a phone call to get a good idea implemented. I believe that politicians rarely care about good ideas, they mostly care about popular ideas (and ideas that earn them money for reelection campaigns).
