I'm disappointed. I was supposed to go into Pennsylvania for John Kerry this past weekend. However, they never contacted me.

The flip side is that God really touched my heart this weekend.

Yet another reminder that the eternal is more important than worldly affairs.

More good news on the activism front. One of my friends was inspired by my debate party, to host his own debate party. No-one cared about the vice presidential debate, but the second presidential debate drew quite a crowd.

My friends decided to come up with their own debate drinking game rules, and they were about 50/50 in predicting talking points. While Bush did much better than the first debate, people actually groaned with awe a couple times when Kerry laid into Bush's shortfalls.

Kerry won my wife over from an "Anybody But Bush" voter to a Kerry supporter by tying all the ways in which Bush has failed us, and how Kerry would do better, in under two minutes.

Now, hopefully someone else will host the third presidential debate. We've had two successful and fun debate parties.
