How could this possibly have happened? I intended this site to be a place where I could explore the process of defunding genital mutilation in my state. I have been completely diverted from that purpose.
I feel like bursting into tears as I write this: the reason I have been diverted is because MY country is torturing people. As a Christian, I see Jesus in the prisoners we are holding. I am responsible. The government that represents me has tortured people to death and continues to follow the policies that manifested such evil.
I commit myself to this plan. I'll be doing updates. I also commit myself to making my local church take a stand on the issue.
I am a follower of Christ. I pray to God that His will be done.
